Dang!! Blackfire and Conner didn’t waste any time. But honestly I can’t really say I’m surprised because Blackfire/Komand’r has been eyeing Conner since she first laid eyes on him. The same can be said about Conner. Still not sure how I feel about them being together because of Conner’s mental maturity and him basically having the mind of a child.
If they changed that part of him and I missed it, I apologize, BUT, if they didn’t it’s still a little weird to me. It is very interesting though, the amount of similarities they have in common.
They both feel like outcasts, even amongst their loved ones.
They are both aliens, (Conner only being half alien and half human only intensifies his feelings of being an outcast)
They both have a bad side. Blackfire being the “bad sister” and Conner being half of Lex Luther.
Now when we first meet Komand’r, she’s seemingly the “bad” sister to Starfire/Kory, who killed their parents and Fadei. As the season goes on, it’s difficult to tell if they are going for a redemption story arc for Kom, or if she has an evil plan up her sleeve and is maybe toying with Conner’s emotions to get him on her side 🤔. I don’t know. I guess I’ll just wait and see, but I personally don’t trust Blackfire, especially now that Kory is having dreams again and feels as though someone is trying to tell her something.
