Neuvillette  was  surprised  by  the  sudden  kiss,  but  it  was  not  unwelcome.Â
Her  lips  were  cold,  though  not  unpleasantly  so.  It  was  normal  to  him  for  others  to  feel  some  degree  colder  as  he  had  a  higher  core  temperature  than  most  others;  courtesy  of  being  a  dragon.
When  the  she  pulled  away,  he  was  disappointed  for  a  moment;  wanting  the  kiss  to  be  more  than  brief,  but  not  voicing  such  feelings.
