@cryohearted is an unfortunately familiar face.
“...Kaeya.”
In a city full of unknowns, one might find comfort in a familiar face. To know you’re not alone would strengthen the resolve of many in the face of such a strange situation. For Diluc Ragnvindr, it brings no such comfort. Nor does it bring his ire. Perhaps his frustration. Though he detests the Knights of Favonius with a passion, they’re the only defense Mondstadt now has left with his sudden disappearance.
“How unfortunate.”
For once, he does not mean the presence of his adopted brother within his vicinity. Whether Kaeya will understand that or not is of little concern to him. Diluc holds many suspicions toward Kaeya, yet... he can’t deny his effectiveness as Calvary Captain. They may, one day, take arms against each other again. For now, his brother has protected Mondstadt. He hasn’t informed anyone of the truths Kaeya revealed to him, nor has he gotten rid of that damned vase.
Thus... he does find it to be beyond frustrating that Mondstadt is without its Calvary Captain. That doesn’t show.
