Silver Knights of Cruora - Basics
Cruora
Cruora is a deserted island with only one kingdom with the same name. The river 'Numera' flows through the kingdom falls in to the sea. Quite literally. Because the land is located way above the sea level. And there's 'Cascades d'Avinne' which falls from the island to the sea. Between the kingdom and the beach, there's a forest. It's called 'Mortmainé woods' and is full of dark magics that are said to be able to absorb your darkest fears and use it against you. The main language of Cruora is Latin. But Hebrew, Sanskrit, Ancient Greek are also commonly used and almost every citizen is multilingual.
Politics
For generations, Cruora is ruled by the same royal family. Ever since the so-called revolution that led from a malfunctioned village councils to a monarchy with a proper power dynamic system, the kingdom was developing in an impressive rate. Until the current ruler, king Darius was crowned.
The Royal Family
The current king of Cruora is King Darius and he's married to queen Audrina. The current heir to the crown is prince Aeneas ( born princess Mireya ) and second in line is princess Octavia. The golden crown of Cruora was passed down for many generations and was abandoned by king Darius due to confidential reasons.
The Silver Knights
The five knights who are chosen to lead the army of Cruora are called the silver knights and there are five of them. A command of a Silver Knight is only second to the king and is even above the direct orders of the queen herself.
The firstborns of the each generation of the Five main households are usually chosen for this position most of the time. According to rumors, the five knights of king Darius abandoned their positions and left the kingdom due to a highly confidential reason that no one outside of the royal family knows about.
The Five Households
There are five noble households of Cruora and each family is born with the ability to manipulate a specific elements. But the tricky part is, unless the firstborn is a twin ( in which case neither of them will inherit the ability) the power is passed down from the firstborn to their firstborn. Each household consist of members from many races and religious backgrounds due to the face that Cruora is an extremely diverse country.
Ok... I'll post the second intro post later with the five households. Until then, what do you think?
