I understand the need to get things done! I broke my leg once, and it created so many problems in my daily regimen! Whats worse was, i had to accept that there were some limitations that i just couldn’t get around!
However, I’m certain that you can manage your daily chores if you do things here and there to make it easier! Perhaps, for the dishes
bring a chair in with you? if your back tires, you can sit down instead of standing, but still finish your chore! and for the laundry, take it slowly! a little bit at a time, instead of all at once!
