We're visibly happier now than we were with our ex psys. We were with them for a little less than a year and we weren't confident in our views on a lot of things. We were scared to them about the things we knew we believed in. They never mentioned syscourse (something we talk to our psys about all the time now). We never talked about politics. The only thing we knew was they were anti Trump. We know exactly where our current psys' views are and consistently keep each other updated when we find something new out about those views.

We also just genuinely feel so much more confident now with our psys. Like before we were near constantly being told we were "weird" for liking different things. Now we can say a lot of our thoughts and yes the fear of rejection is still there, but it's almost always met with an explanation. If there is rejection, it explains why instead of just saying no and moving on. Our ex almost never did that.

Also a bit more venty but not getting split on every other day is pretty cool 👍
