For minutes Sora had stood there, frozen in place and wide eyes blinking. Riku's arms around him, strong and warm and so inviting, begging Sora to sink into them. Perhaps he would have done if he hadn't been so taken back by the fact that Riku was actually holding him, something Sora hadn't experienced since childhood. Usually he flinched away from touch unless it was necessary it seemed, especially touch like this.
Thankfully though, Sora managed to regain himself enough to speak. That apology sobering, causing him to lick his dry lips and let one hand cautiously lay on Riku's back. "It's fine, Riku." Really, it was. It was just a scratch-- Okay, maybe it hadn't been just a scratch, but it was nothing to get too worked up over, right?
"You don't hafta be sorry, it's my fault. I was a little careless. Nothing I haven't experienced befor--"
If Riku holding him shocked Sora into silence, then Riku's lips kissing where his wound had been stopped Sora's heart briefly. Skipping beats, leaving him gasping once for breath. Oh, holy. Sora hoped his face wasn't too red.
