Y'all know what I work in a grocery store. Its a freaking pandemic we are limiting what you can buy. You yelling at me does not make me feel like bending the rules or "forgetting" them.
What does?
You being nice.
A example from today was during my run of returns I found a handsoap bottle. Did I put it on the shelf ? No. I tried to give it to the nice boy who asked about it. A young man came in and was really nice asking about thermometers, we had two in store. Did I find that themomter for him. Yes, it was hidden in infants. The girl who nicely asked me to help her get the pasta on top, I gave her my spaghetti I was returing. The older gentleman who was kind to me, y'all know i got him the flour he needed. The missionaries who asked me nicely about rice? I git them the rice and told them how to split it up so they could get more. The nice couple who wanted 4 milks when we only were ment to give out 3 they got their 4 milks.
The lady who screamed and cussed me out for not allowing her to buy all the laundry soap. She only got the one. I'm not doing anything extra for her. The man that yelled at me for telling him not to use the employees only ladder, I didn't go to the back to find what he wanted.
If your nice I'm gonna help you. If your not I just don't care.
Be nice to grocery store workers. Its a pandemic we don't have a lot of stuff. But if your nice we will try to help you more then the typical person.
