I had to cut this in two comments, because tumblr hates long messages: Capcom really messed up with maths in RE5 (This is minor detail which annoys me more than it should) in RE5 it says that Chris is 35 (born in 1973) Jill is 33 (born in 1974/1975, depending on which source you pick) but RE5 takes place in 2009, so Chris is supposed to be 36 and Jill is supposed to be 34/35 (unless my maths fails me) Also lost in nightmares has their ages set as 32 and 30, and when you do the basic maths, the lost in nightmares would be happening in 2005 instead of 2006. (the original notebook which was inside of Finnish copy of the game said that RE5 is happening in 2008 instead of 2009.)

I have always had HC of them being like sisters (cough, sister-in-laws) since after their parents died, Claire probably didn’t have a female role model (other than Kathy Burton, who Claire probably didn’t see that often and since Chris was too workaholic to have decent relationship) so Claire would see Jill as a role model and someone who she could talk about anything, what she wouldn’t want to tell Chris
