Could you do a hc for Tony and their s/o having HORRIBLE insomnia? I suffer very badly, can't take sleeping pills/any aids that normally help bc they don't react well with my body and made me sick the times I've tried them. How would they try to help/comfort their partner? Would they stay up with them for a bit? If you can answer that, it's okay.
Oh darling! Insomnia is really awful, horrible and annoying. I guess you’ve tried the classic stuff like drinking tea with relaxing herbs and haven’t worked. We’ve (L& me) felt it several times and it’s been the worst. Hope you find a way to get over it. <3
Tony Stark helping you with insomnia would include…
“Honey, are you alright?”
Tony wakes up and sees you with your eyes open when both are on bed at 3 am.
“Yeah, it’s fine. It’s just another night.”
He completely understands how you feel. He suffers of insomnia some times, but seeing you suffering it too breaks his heart.
“Hey, hey.” ,forehead kiss. “What about pancakes, huh?
You smile at his idea. His eyes are tired, but his face reflects that characteristic expression of his when trying to make you smile.
Both get into the kitchen and begin to take out the ingredients for some nice pancakes.
“The recipe says it needs three cups and not four”
“Honey, you should know at this stage of our relationship that I make the most delicious pancakes in the world. And they need four cups.”
“You’re Iron Man.”
“Friday, please tell me what goes after the four cups.”
While the pancakes are being cooked, the night surrounding you gives the perfect ambience for your weird talks.
“Yeah, but you have to admit it; Thor’s hammer has something attached to it that doesn’t allow me to hold it.”
“Sure, I guess it’s all because of Jane and her Physics stuff.”
He does this with all the love he feels for you. He’ll wake up and stay with you as long as it takes, cause he knows you’ll do even more for him.
“Delicious, told you so”
“Yeah, actually the pancakes are really great.”
Now, a movie.
Watching a good film, together embraced and over the couch.
It’s a weird childish movie the kiddo Peter Parker recommended to you.
“Oh I love this part.”
“I don’t know how that kid gets this stuff”
The movie is over.
It’s 7 am in the morning, and you’ve finally fell asleep around his arms.
“Friday, no messages for me until 4 pm.”
Tony fells asleep with you too and so you share your dreams together.
