Hi! First of all I've been meaning to write you for a while to thank you because I loved reading up on your EXO theories! And thank you again for doing one for the new MV. I was wondering, have you seen Lay's "Give me a Chance" MV? In the end Lay is suspended in the air much like Suho and it got me really intrigued. The moment I saw Suho in the water/destroyed city I immediately thought of that scene. Probably just a coincidence ^^' Anyway thank you again for doing this :D

Man I haven’t watched that MV since it came out (I usually just listen to songs not watch MV a lot tbh) but I just re-watched it and you’re so right, that looks almost identical!
I think if this is deliberate it may be telling us that while Suho is trapped by his own power (water) in Obsession, perhaps Lay is trapped by the spy in Give Me A Chance... Cos not only is he suspended in air, but he’s also surrounded by these weird webs.. - they kind of fit in with what I was saying in Part 9 of my theory, how in Universe and in some CBX MVs we see these tangles that Chen (the spy?) is creating, and that the other members are trying to unravel.
And also we see Lay kind of asleep here. Which makes sense if he’s in another realm of the dream state that the other EXO members are known to be in. So where I said that maybe Lay is free of some of the control of the Red Forces, maybe it’s the other way ‘round, and he’s stuck somewhere unable to get back to his members.
I also think there’s something very significant with this image above, but I’m not sure what to really make of it rn, so any thoughts? hehe
To be honest, I think I’ll have to look at his other MVs a little more closely and see if I can come up with a coherent theory about this! I still haven’t watched his latest releases I think, so I’ll come back to this :)
