I love how Hardison is always overconfident when its explicitly needed for the plot of the day, but most other occasions he's the local naysayer. The literal second there is even a slight hitch in the plan, Hardison gets anxious, nervous or starts freaking out. Not to mention that Nate and Hardison have a whole song and dance routine everytime Nate requires Hardison to do... something. Nate: Hardison, do the thing Hardison: Do the - man do I look like I can just do the thing?! This is a very detailed thing that needs hundreds of hours of practise and has at least five different pre-conditions which are very unlikely to occur at the same time with an infinitesimal margin of error- Nate: so you gonna do it? Hardison: *fine*, but I reserve the right to complain about it the whole time.
