you  snooze  ,  you  lose  ---  at  least  that’s  how  stu  saw  it  when  tatum  said  she  was  going  to  hang  out  with  sid  tonight  instead  of  him  .  in  his  mind  ,  it  was  a  great  betrayal  ,  one  he  grieved  over  for  about  two  -  seconds  before  picking  up  his  phone  and  calling  someone  else  up  .  to  his  luck  ,  it  worked  ,  and  one  quick  trip  to  the  store  later  ,  he  was  now  seated  on  the  back  porch  with  a  beer  and a  girl  from  school  .  not  a  bad  way  to  spend  a  friday  night  .     ‘   bullshit  .  everyone  knows  they’re  totally  friends  with  benefits  ,  back  -  door  buddies  ,  if  you  know  what  i’m  saying  !   ’     there’s  a  pause  as  he  takes  another  sip  of  his  beer  ,  looking  out  on  his  expansive  back  yard  ,  wondering  where  the  fuck  his  dog  went  before  he  turns  back  to  harley  ,  a  small  smirk  forming  on  his  lips  .     ‘   so  ,  like  ,  how  flexible  are  you  ?  tate  said  she  saw  you  in  gym  class  and  so  wanted  to  recruit  your  ass  .   ’
