So my new bf doesn’t like me posting pics of myself in underwear or looking at guys on tumblr. I’m really split. It’s my body and I choose to do with it what I want and me looking at pics of guys on tumblr isn’t cheating, but I don’t want him upset at me. Thoughts?
You guys need to have a come to Jesus meeting about it. You need to talk to him so he can reflect on what the real issue is (usually insecurity, which is not healthy but IS valid) and also work on setting clear boundaries that work for BOTH of you (you have to compromise). What he’s doing sounds a bit controlling, but at the same time it probably comes from a place of hurt and fear. I can be the jealous type too, but I’m older so I know when it’s unjustified and I also know how to set boundaries with my husband and then expand them the more I feel like the relationship is secure. You have to see if he has that level of self-awareness or if he can develop it.
