Have I talked to y’all yet about how STOKED a good chunk of the crew was to find out Beavis and Butthead drank piss in one of the season 2 eps?

We had been drawing and joking about them drinking piss and pissing on each other for months before we knew it was an actual upcoming episode

We talked about piss frequently enough that one of the character designers made shorts involving piss for Titmouse’s 5 Second Day:

Our producer set up a cute watercooler Google Hangouts link for us to all hang out in (the job was WFH) so we could bond as a crew, and do you know what the gremlin ass artists he hired decided to call it??

This show changed my life. Getting to work with an incredible crew, and the legendary Pen Ward himself, was amazing. I made some lifelong friends that I absolutely treasure, and animating Clancy actually helped me become more comfortable with my gender identity.

We were hired spring of 2019, and I had just really started to come to terms with who I was as nonbinary. I didn't really know what it meant or how I fit into all of that, but there was just something about animating Clancy in episode 4 with his cute little tank top and vacation shorts that helped me to realize that gender really is all a construct lmfao. It's kinda stupid, but hey, it's how that happened.

Fuck that's a really hard one. I have my favorite scenes that I animated on (Beavis' hand stuck in the disposal off the top of my head, anyways), but I think my fav scene in the movie was the break up scene where Beavis and Butthead are apart and missing each other and it's raining with that gay little song playing. I think it really hammers home that they need each other and literally can't function unless they're together. Like, they truly love each other whether they'll admit it or not.

I also liked the scene where they realized they can use a phone to pay for anything and Butthead uses it to get them a fancy hotel suite and all the nachos they could ever eat and THEY MADE A NACHO CHEESE HOT TUB like. How cute. How queer. I love it.

I don't think DTU was particularly a very good movie for a lot of reasons I won't really get in to, but it was my first feature length project and fun to work on. Plus, I mean, it got me into Beavis and Butthead and I made a lot of incredible lifelong friends so :] I'll always appreciate it for that.

Okay so here's my story about how I met Mike Judge once:

It was the crew screening of Do The Universe, and we were all mingling before the actual screening happened. Met a lot of cool people (since it was all WFH during production), and I was slowly working up the courage to talk to him.

Long story short, I ended up awkwardly waving "hi" at him, and he like, waved back, but before I could approach him, he had to get this whole thing started. So he made a cute little speech before the screening thanking the crew and all that, and it was really wholesome :]
