Jefferson: Hey, speakin’ of family -- y’all wanna meet Dad and Mama?

Beau [off]: Dad.

Wisteria: Oh--! I don’t know--

Oleander: Wisteria, I swear to God, if you say no, I will personally make the rest of high school a living hell for you.

Wisteria: I mean -- would they mind?

Beau [off]: Yes.

Jefferson: Never wanted to visit your mama’n’your sisters?

Oleander: [mumbling] I, uh, didn’t exactly know they were my sisters–

Jefferson: Ah, I gotcha. It happens to the best of us. Y’know, Beau here had a sister he didn’t know about–

Beau: Dad, not the time.

Jefferson: —his sister actually dated one of their cousins for a bit–

Beau: Dad.

Jefferson: –I mean it was only for like an hour, then they found out they were related, but talk about kissin’ cousins, right? [laughing]

Jefferson: Hey, don’t I know you from somewhere?

Wisteria: My mom worked at the museum in San Myshuno. Adina Lilac? She always brought me and my sister to the holiday parties--

Jefferson: Adina! Right, right! Those, uh -- [cough] -- parties are kind of a blur--

Beau [off]: Yeah, I bet they are.

Jefferson: I told you to hush. Anyway, it’s great to see you again, um--?

Wisteria: Wisteria.

Jefferson: Wisteria. Right. Tell your mama’n’em I said hey! And I can get y’all tickets to the next show, y’know -- feel like she used to ask for ‘em all the time--

Sonata [off]: So y’all are friends of Jefferson?

Wisteria: Oh, well, not exactly -- my mom worked at the museum? And, um, Ollie’s a big fan--

Sonata [off, laughing]: That’s what you said!

Wisteria: I meant a big fan of Jefferson, actually -- oh! I mean, not that he’s not a big fan of you, Mrs. Sonata -- or your husband -- um--

Buck [off, laughing]: Y’all ain’t gotta be so nervous! Sorry if Aspen scared y’all a little, she takes her job real serious--

Jefferson: A painter, huh?

Oleander: Y-yes, sir.

Jefferson: How ‘bout that.

Wisteria: Mind if I grab a seat?

Jefferson: Nah, go ahead, sweetpea, plenty of barstools to go around.

Beau: Um, technically--

Jefferson: You hush. Ain’t nobody in this room who gives a damn about some stupid rule--

Beau: I’d... rather not go to jail for having minors sitting at the bar.

Aspen: Sorry for the intrusion. He refused to be stopped.

Buck: Hmph. Coulda swore we put the hat out--

Sonata: [teasing] What, this hat? The one on your head?

Buck: Your hat.

Aspen: [coughing politely] Um, your “favorite son” made some new friends that he thought might like to meet you both.

DUBStepSonata: i know!! i’m so excited!! btw, you said you live in OS right? if we both get tickets we should meet up at the concert!!

oxenfree: oh that would be sweet!! would you really want to??

DUBStepSonata: yeah absolutely!! it would be great to have a friend in OS... haven’t met many friends yet... :(

oxenfree: hey well you have me! :) but you’ve never sent so much as a selfie, so how will i know what you look like? :P

DUBStepSonata: i’ll be the one dressed up like sonata at the concert! XP

oxenfree: yeah you and half the other girls in OS lol

DUBStepSonata: haha hang on!! my sister says i totally look like her back when she was posting vids on youtube!! let me find my hat and i’ll snap a pic!!

Wisteria: See? Didn’t I tell you she does a great show??

Oleander: I literally never doubted you.

Wisteria: But she totally lives up to all the hype, right?

Oleander: Oh, yeah, for sure. I didn’t expect Buck Maguire to be as good as he was, considering he’s been retired for like fifty years.

Wisteria: Right? Guess he put all that time off to good use.

Oleander: Guess so. By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask -- can you pull off the whole Sonata accent, too?

Wisteria: [in a bad imitation] Why, I sure can, y’all!
