Dragon age Lyrian is a templar. The Aubade siblings in general were abandoned by their parents when they were young, Lyrian and Harmon, the twins at age 8, and their younger sister Cresce at age 2, when Cresce manifested magic.

Their parents, severely devout Andrastians placed the twins into the service of the chantry in repentance for the sin of birthing a mage and the fear they may also manifest magic, and of course Cresce went to the Circle.

Lyrian grew to really hate magic for upsetting her entire life, as well as the idea that she might manifest magic one day too. It wasn’t until she was a teenager that she was no longer afraid of manifesting magic later in life. She leaned in very hard to Andrastianism to cope with the abandonment and found a community there, but she always did come down particularly, especially hard on mages.

Harmon did not become a templar, but stayed as a chantry brother and probably dies at some point?

Cresce grew up to be as attention seeking and mildly desperate as she is in Canon. She was a very talented mage, but she was always looking for more power. At her harrowing, she did in fact make friends with some spirits and demons and made several deals, though not to inhabit her body for extra power.

She wouldn’t run from the Circle but start dealing in power politics among the political factions and the templar organizations to make reforms, mostly for her personal freedom and power, but also would do some good with her fellow mages.

12. What perfectly-normal-to-them-thing does your OC do that confuses/pisses off/terrifies their neighbors?

Cress doesn’t do that shit. 3:) This is Arkady, where every other person is directly involved in Torrent or knows someone who does. Pissing off your neighbors is an excellent way to start a feud that will probably involve mind control and manipulation and frankly, Cress would rather not start anything like that.

Download leaves the hive in costume probably fairly regularly, which gets him a look or three when he walks down the block. Also ngl, if a neighbor is pushing their buttons and isn’t listening to Firewall, he’d probably try to unnerve people by telling them that there’s asbestos in their house. He can taste it in the air! (: 

9. What would cause your OC to chose to do something petty/pointlessly cruel?

Answered this for download! 

Cress is a pretty spiteful person! She’d go out of her way to spite someone, but usually only if provoked. Disliking someone isn’t enough- someone who’s standing in the way between her and what she wants is usually asking for her to do something cruel.

17. How does your OC sabotage themselves?

Cress literally never says what she wants. There’s a lot of hints and nudges and attempts at manipulation but she usually forces the people around her who give a shit to attempt mind reading. 

She wants a lot of stuff! Some of it is pretty obvious like her pop idol dreams, but she probably hasn’t said anything about Canary, to anyone. Similarly, she’s told no one about her crush on Melete and will continue to refuse to do so. Even though Melete is clearly fucking clueless. 

18. What’s the trashiest item in your OC’s wardrobe, when was the last time they wore it and why do they still have it?

Download has nothing he considers embarrassing in his wardrobe. He doesn’t believe in guilty pleasures and walks around the neighborhood in gaudy drinker outfits regularly. If it was trashy he wouldn’t wear it (:

Having that much media/celebrity pull is going to get her influence in the Corps. But mega stardom status can be helpful for her info gathering too- by virtue of having an excuse to just be anywhere because she’s got a show, or a secret, or is intentionally misdirecting attention. She’ll have the skills to interrogate and gain information while people are distracted by her stardom! 3:)
