so i absolutely ADORE when people make simon into a big fish / mermaid thing, but i wanted to try giving him both legs and a tail bc i like the idea of him retaining more of his human traits?? also just a compromise so i could have him be able to walk around outside of the blood BUT i wouldn't have to sacrifice the really cool idea to have the tail fins made of finger bones and webby membranes !! that part turned out so cool i'm really proud of it :]
and ofc he's got mouths and teeth everywhere, i really want the long one that goes from his cheek, down his neck and over his shoulder to extend down his back and open up to show off his spine, and the knotches of it have like grown and lengthened into looking kind of like the dorsal fins on a fish?? need to draw that, it's so cool in my head,,,,,and then i gave him some veins like elli coming out of her gills has as like a sort of limb replacement, mostly just bc i liked the look of it lol
also i am not immune to the gill scar propaganda!!!!!!!! LOVE IT SO BAD
