I decided to take #msucas114 because I was interested in entrepreneurship and I was honestly on the fence as to whether starting my homemade business was truly the best option for me. I've been actively talking about it for over a year but not actively pursuing it. I was too afraid to start and I was afraid that I wouldn't succeed if I tried to do it. But I have learned through this class that starting a business and being an entrepreneur doesn't mean being perfect and having everything in order. And it also doesn't guarantee that you will be successful. If fact, it's almost guaranteed that you will fail at some point, in some capacity. And that is perfectly fine. And I have to remember: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" (Wayne Gretzky). So I am finally going to take those shots, come what may. And one of them will be registering as an LLC in the near future. I am truly grateful for what I have learned in this class and what it has encouraged me to finally do. #creativitydate #dealerschoice

Well I finally did it... I set up my Etsy shop! I've been thinking about doing it for months but I was too afraid to actually go through with it because I wasn't sure if anybody would like my artwork enough to actually buy it. But I figured why not? If nobody buys anything, it's not the end of the world. The most important thing is that I love what I'm doing and what I create. And the only way I'll know if anybody wants anything is if I actually try. Not sure how it will go but we'll see 😊. I only have a few of my acrylic pour paintings up right now but there will be more to come! #firsttry #creativitydate #msucas114

My #dreamspace where I generally get some of my best thinking done is in my office, often listening to music or a podcast. It's my mostly quiet, mainly clutter-free space where my brain tends to be the most productive but also free. (The cats help too 😺) #creativitydate #msucas114

Feel the fear and do it anyway || On friday I wanted to get my hair cut again. I bought clippers over the summer with the intentions on learning how to cut my own hair (because it'll save money and trips to the barber shop). Everytime I would have the chance to do it myself, I would get scared of messing up and pass the clippers to my Step Dad and he would do it for me. I wanted to learn but I was also scared to mess up. So, friday morning I made it my goal that by the end of night I would have the courage to do it. I made sure the clippers were fully charged and I pretended like I knew what I was doing (which was more than I thought). It was a success and of course I'll do it again because I bought these clippers for a reason. Save money, live better. #MSUCAS114 #CreativityDate #FirstTry #myhaircrush #thecutlife

While out with friends, we stopped by a small shop. I've never noticed it before, but they knew the place well. It's called Juice Nation and they sell cold-pressed organic juices, which is 100% raw organic. It's nice to see that there is a nearby shop that produces organic juices. I'm sharing this because even though water is good (and I drink it a lot), there are other drinks out there that are just as beneficial (and more flavorful).  I tried the Blue Lemonade and it was very refreshing. This is one of the best innovations because it's healthy and it tastes good. And when it's healthy and it tastes good then it's an automatic win. Drink Good. Feel Good. #msucas114 #creativitydate

This week's goal was to go somewhere I've never been before. On Saturday, I took a trip to the Children's Garden on campus. If it wasn't for my friends telling me about this place, I would not have known about it. While walking through the garden, I was able to do three things that I love: Be creative, relax, and adventure. I took a lot of pictures (which is great because I haven't been out practicing photography in a while). Also, there was a time when I took my earphones off and I realized how peaceful it was once I stopped the extra noise from blasting in my ears. Music is great and I love it, but it can't compete with the beautiful sound nature provides.
