Every time I hear about people disparaging the idea of Goncharov or talking about how older people don't get it I think about how I explained it to my father, 66 years old, who thought it was the greatest expression of humanity's desire to create and this is from a man so out of touch with social media that he never figured out the how or why of facebook and yet he was absolutely giddy at the creation of this entire fandom.
