Okay so originally I was going to go more into detail about the idea I had for this, but then I kept getting distracted and... everything happened, so I think it’s safe to say that’s not happening anytime soon sdhbcfhsd

I can, however, give you the highlights-

Three kingdoms are at war with each other; kingdoms one and two are weak so they ally together via an arranged marriage of their princes and defeat kingdom the third. huzzah huzzah the day is one. the arranged marriage sticks tho, ofc, bc these things don’t just undo themselves. the marriage is also considered both a sign of peace between kingdoms one and two and what brought about peace instead of eternal war, so like,,,,, we have the first part of that title

princes are logan and roman- logan’s being logan about the fact he’s married for the kingdoms and nothing more but damn roman is a pretty boi and and a nice boi and a very respectful boi and oops logan’s in love

but then he gets kidnapped

because peace,,,, stolen

he guesses pretty quickly it’s the third kingdom bitter after a lost war and this thought is confirmed when Remington (prefers to just go by Remy), prince of the third kingdom, starts visiting him in his makeshift cell

Remy proves to not be a fan of his kingdom or its tactics, and after a couple of weeks protecting logan (aka faking torturing him for info so he wouldn’t actually get tortured for info) he breaks him out and they flee back to logan’s kingdom

remy’s imprisoned, logan vouches for him to roman, says they should send him back alive to his kingdom, remy tells him it’d be better if they just executed him (his parents? big bad. very big bad. they run a ruthless kingdom, and a traitor- family or no- would only face a slow and painful fate at their hands), more deliberation, roman agrees to keep and protect remy from his kingdom as an acknowledgement of what he did to save logan and moves him into one of the castle’s guestrooms

the rest of the fic would be gratuitous gays- logan’s still in love with roman, but as he gets the chance to spend more time with remy in a non-kidnapped situation he’s realizing ro’s not the only person he loves; remy very much likes logan but he decides that flirting with the arranged-marriage-taken man is a bad idea so he tries to hold himself back (only kinda working), and though he doesn’t see roman as much the same is quickly becoming true for him as well; roman’s having a fucking CRISIS because he loves logan but one time remy winked at him and he’s pretty sure that should be made illegal for being too damn gay
