As a creative writing coach this has always been a question some never ask? The challenges are so important to recognize or identify for the sake of continuing to write even when you think you have “writer’s block”. In my opinion writer’s block isn’t a real thing because even if you’re not pleased with what you writing, you can always WRITER.... Sometimes we forget all of the troubled times and shaky moments as we fight alone in our daily routines. I’ve certainly had my share and I’ve certainly had my fill as well. Oft times we forget that the journey isn’t over and that we have to fight everyday regardless of what this troubled world may send our way. Recently I’ve had to reflect on what was more important to me and why I had to journey the path that I’m on. It was a testy eyes travel, in fact, it still is. And I’ve learned so much after being crushed and damaged in so many ways. I think one of the hardest trials to overcome is being deserted during a rough time and then having your derailments kicked in your face. Even if I tell you my story and what I’ve struggled through in my lifetime there’s no way you can totally understand what I’ve been through nor what I’m going through on a daily basis and vise-versa, so to judge a person by their actions without understanding is not the best route. Indeed it is hurtful and it may even cause pain that cannot be erased. I fight every day. I have fought all of my life and even after the tragedy that I’ve sustained in 1991 (28 years ago) I still fight. I still come up short but I still try to find another way. Today is all about reflection for me. It’s about cleansing my thoughts and the patterns that make this journey more uncomfortable than it should be. Practice what you preach. That’s today’s message.
