your work is beautiful <3 I hope you don't get caught in the sweeping cycles of "should" too much- (coming from someone who's trying not to but has been a long time perpetuator of "should") i know that people use it as a motivator so please excuse me if this is the case here ---- i might simply be projecting as someone who's used it to shame myself either way i recently heard someone refer to all their individual skills as their own seasonal cycles? so it helped me realize that I've been in a winter, creatively speaking. and that the dormancy can be very natural.
there of course is a near infinite amount of nuances that could be applied. so im really speaking from my experience --TLDR your work is amazing and I'm glad to have found your page.
"creatively in a winter"
I have yet to learn to write with the contentedness of being comfortable in my own mind.
Ya girl is in therapy, properly medicated, and living quietly these days.
Rather than being manic/psychotic/depressed, my thoughts are calm and collected, no longer a raging whirlpool of words.
Perhaps my creative spring will come, perhaps something beautiful can come from this new peaceful state-of-mind.
