After questioning my previous branding for some time, I recently came up with this new concept for my personal branding. The logo using a play on my username ‘amyblckfrd’ as it consists of my name plus my surname without vowels. The vowels from my surname have been dropped in above and below ‘blckfrd’ to ensure that my full name is legible. My previous branding simply had ‘AB’ as a logo which did not reflect my username or personal identity, nor do I feel it reflects my current ability within graphic design. This branding has now spilt onto my blog in the form of a logo, pre-loader and masthead as well as spilling onto the menu. To further this however, I need to adapt my portfolio and create business cards ahead of the career festival in order to branch my name out into the design world.
