BA3b // Creating my Warp After, being patient and a lovely fellow textile student, by letting a first year creating her warp first, Which took a while!) I was able to start creating my warp. I had my drawing plan all ready to go which meant that the process would be simple and easy. My warp is 4.75 metres long, 56 ends per inch and 24 inches wide. I spent about 3/4 hours creating my warp. Which I'm extremely proud of, as it meant that I was off and ready by the end of the day. After taking my warp off, I'm really happy with how the colours look. I think the Blue and Orange are brilliant accent colours, there bold and extremely eye catching. I also really like the variation of Greys that I've used, against the Cream. I cannot wait to put it onto the loom so that I can see the beauty spread out. I'm now so glad that I did decide to use my left over cone yarn, as it meant that the colours would be exact to my previous warp. Although, I have the measurements it's never definite that the finish will be the same. I am excited to dye Hank's for my weft though as I want to create a variation of tones.
