Blood work
Went to doctor to review my blood work to find out why my calves are cramping up after 4-6 hours of sleep. All is good except my iron is a tad low, easy fix. Though he found high levels of Creatine Kinase in my blood?! This is released during muscle repair. The amount is the highest he has ever seen! Last week I did my first leg workout in 8 months as my legs were sore for 3-4 days after, like very sore. I told him this and he figured that could be it. However to be sure, I’m getting more blood work next week after resting off any activity for a week. I did a push workout today and tomorrow ill do my pull workout. Then I’ll rest for a week. I have not taken a break for 10 weeks, so it’s due. Also I have started taking a multivitamin in the morning and a calcium magnesium at night. CaMg is on the average thought it might help with the cramping. High Creatine Kinase is evidence of degenerative muscle disease, which my doctor doesn’t suspect as he says I look in good shape…that validation I took. :-D workouts are paying off!!
