AÂ BIG BLUE CONTEST
Blue's living room design features a wood panel accent wall and furniture pieces in dark walnut which helps balance the energy of a dark blue sofa, with its rounded edges softening the look of the room. Mid-century modern pieces include a two-tier coffee table with hairpin legs, cone shaped metal floor lamp and whilst finishing the look, the sunburst clock makes a moment. In addition to that, the bohemian style completes the room, opposing the minimalist and straight-edged modern design; while displaying bright colors and patterns into cushions and prints. The room is also accessorized with the layering of rugs, candles, open shelving and a series of potted plants giving it life and a global feel altogether. The mixture of mid-century furniture and boho-chic pieces is also seen in the dining area - that's completed with an eclectic gallery wall - and continues onto the bedroom. The calm and relaxing zone features danish furniture with angled legs and light wood tones, as seen in the nightstands and dresser bringing in a modern touch, whereas the boho style makes an appearance throughout the room with its diverse patterns on rugs, pillows, wall prints and stylish accessories. The bold blue TV stand is a special shot of style, that's accompanied by the desk area with a classic molded plastic chair and, of course, various artwork and plants, making it a fun yet sophisticated space.
Thank you @bluehoppersimming for the amazing challenge and opportunity, it was the most fun designing for a real person with real tastes! I created a moodboard and this walkthrough to help with the space plans. I hope I could capture your style well and please your eyes with rooms you’d love to have!
