lottie’s   childhood   was   pretty   idyllic,   or   maybe   that’s   just   the   rose-colored   glasses.   the   youngest   of   four   (   born   exactly   20   mins   after   her   twin   ),   lottie   grew   up   with   every   advantage   money   could   buy.   while   her   parents   loved   their   children   endlessly,   both   of   them   spent   most   of   their   lives   juggling   demanding   careers   that   resulted   in   the   four   siblings   naturally   becoming   each   other’s   constants.   her   eldest   sister   stepped   into   the   role   of   caretaker,   teddy   became   the   older   brother   lottie   wished   to   emulate,   and   the   twins   learned   early   on   how   to   lean   on   each   other   while   still   trying   to   figure   out   their   own   identity   outside   of   being   the   chase   twins.   lottie   spent   most   of   her   childhood   chasing   after   teddy,   which   is   why   she   ended   up   on   the   ice.   she   carved   out   her   own   name,   built   her   own   reputation,   and   made   sure   nobody   thought   of   her   as   just   someone’s   little   sister   or   one   half   of   the   chase   twins.   she’s   spent   years   trying   to   prove   she   doesn’t   need   to   be   attached   to   anyone   else’s   identity   to   be   worthy   of   consideration.   in   terms   of   personality,   lottie’s   the   kind   of   person   who   naturally   takes   charge   without   even   realizing   she’s   doing   it.   confident   and   outspoken,   she   never   backs   down   from   a   fight   and   almost   always   is   the   one   who   instigates   it.   far   too   comfortable   with   confrontation.   she   doesn’t   bite   her   tongue   just   to   keep   everyone   happy   and   will   always   tell   you   exactly   what   she   thinks   of   you,   you'll   always   know   where   you   stand   with   her.   she’s   competitive   and   stubborn,   never   admitting   defeat   unless   she’s   truly   down-and-out.   she’s   never   mean   for   the   sake   of   being   mean,   she   just   doesn’t   have   a   filter   and   can   come   off   as   insensitive   more   often   than   not.   she’s   fiercely   loyal,   the   first   to   defend   the   people   she   loves.   she’s   always   been   loud,   brash,   impossible   to   ignore,   and   entirely   unwilling   to   be   anyone   but   herself.   she’s   also   highly   ambitious   and   plans   on   attending   law   school,   following   her   father   into   the   legal   world.   not   because   it’s   expected   of   her   or   because   she   wants   to   ride   on   her   father’s   reputation,   but   because   she   genuinely   loves   the   challenge.
