@crazymeds "my program" = my PhD program, not AA. I go to SMART Recovery meetings for sobriety - AA isn't really a good fit for me

Or, following Occam's Razor, any antidepressant can induce mild hypomania to severe mania in people who don't have bipolar disorder.
I mean, yes, but the same thing also happens to me with no psych meds, generally in early spring and late summer. “Elevated risk for progression to true mania/hypomania, on or off antidepressants” is probably roughly accurate.
