guys this is not a drill, i'm starting to think that my new dan and phil phase is maybe not a phase and in fact a new interest.
i have these phases where i intesely obsess over a thing (usually a piece of media or a public person (actor, singer, etc)) HOWEVER these usually last around two weeks. and it's been 6 weeks of obsessing over dan and phil.....
the worst part is - i think tiktok edits are to blame. i started getting a lot of 2010s youtube, fandom, superwholock and emo edits. i started rewatching sherlock and rewatched the first TJLC video out of nostalgic curiosity. and on september 12th (i scrolled down my youtube history for this) i watched my first dan and phil video in years - the date night video. since then i've binged a whole bunch of their videos and dan and phil have consumed my recent posts on here
i guess all that's left is to call myself a phan. what an insane timing to join. glad that i could be there for the hard launch. even if i was watching from the nosebleeds.
P.S. recommended your fav videos pleasee. especially if they're from the 2020 onwards era or essential to the dan and phil lore. i have seen a good collection but not enough to get the inside jokes that have been going on for years and years
