Only finished Hey Arnold last week and already missing it like a motherfucker so I watched Craig Bartlett's TV Movie/Pilot "Party Wagon" I liked it! It was pretty good. I was surprised at how many adult jokes it got away with, especially with Romeo and the Wagon Masters wife like goddamn. I like the little cast of characters this had, and I wish we got more of them. Half the reason I watched this was because I saw a few posts saying Sue and Randy are basically Helga and Arnold in different fonts, and they were completely right. Wish we got to see where their story woulda gone. Not really any major complaints... barring one the ending bit with Jill and Randy? Where they have a semi maybe romantic bit in the cave? RIGHT after they established the age gap. I understand that the intended joke is it ISN'T like that. But it's still weird and uncomfortable. Would rather they just not have included it. But other than that, worth checking out. Especially to analyze how Bartlett's tropes seeped into this. It's really funny and charming and a neat way to kill some time.
