A little late, but honestly, I felt that it was worth it for the amount of detail I felt this page needed.
Tom has had to take the place of the parent-figure that David himself was, but is still treated more like a big brother than anything else. It wears on him a bit, but he's one of the more mature Bowie's in the household, so it makes sense that the task would fall to him. While he might not feel that he does a good job, the other do respect him.
I'm honestly so stoked about the art detail in this page. The last panel took forever to finish, but i really feel like it was well worth the wait. The scenery outside the bay window is my favorite part. And hey! Dory's made an appearance!
So while I'm still going to shoot for one page per week, I'm not sure if that'll be the case for the next two weeks or so. I've just started a new job and the schedule shift cuts out what used to be a free day to art. I'm still going to make the most of my free time and weekends, so don't you worry! I have way too much awesome story planned to let you guys down! :)
stay tuned for page 6!
