[💠] The shocked expression of the other lingered in the mind, after all, it had been how long since the two of them had last seen each other? Too long. Even still, they couldn't help but feel... remorse? regret? guilt? They weren't sure. But here they were, staring up at the stars of the night sky. Having decided to camp out near where they had sealed the other away. Sure it had been almost a week, but they still couldn't shake this feeling. His good eye closing for a moment, a soft breath left them as they carefully got up. They knew they weren't going to be able to rest now, so they figured a walk would do them good.
With that, they started to walk. Leaving their cloak since they hardly doubted anyone would be coming out here or anywhere near here. However as they were walking... They began to feel that something was off, their brow furrowing slightly before quickly turning just in time to see the very person that had caused such turmoil within the usual stoic captain. "!"

Send me a ♥ + a URL and I'll list 5 things I like about them.
1. Honestly, let me cap this off by admitting something - you were actually a blog I saw and admired from afar for quite some time - seeing your Digimon muses especially. I didn't realize you were a sideblog at first but when we finally did become mutuals, man I was so incredibly excited and hyped.
2. Also, I love seeing lesser known Digimon series like Savers represented on your blog! Masaru deserves more love, he's such a compelling and a badass protagonist!
3. The dialogue for your characters and how you write it so genuinely peak and spot on - it gives me all the nostalgia, like I can picture the voice actors saying it in my head - that's how true to life it feels.
4. I did mention this point with Ni so I hope you don't mind me mentioning it to you because I feel it's absolutely applicable to you - you really do put your entire passion into the fandoms that you love. Like it's just immediately apparent from one glance on your blog and going back to point number one, I think even back then I could see that and that was what drew me to you.
5. We've been mutuals for what feels like a long long time and I couldn't be happier for it - you're incredibly chill and such a talented and wonderful writer. I hope we stay in each others' orbit for a long time to come!
Queried by @cpirits: [src.] "can i at least buy you a drink?" // from Gallagher
After looking at the one speaking to him, Ichigo would offer a small smile, before nodding. "Sure, if you really want to." He'd give the guy a once over, not in an invasive way, before looking back toward his face. "I'm Ichigo, it's nice to meet you." He'd turn to properly face the brunette and hold a hand out for a handshake. "Sorry if I came off as a grouch or somethin' like that." He'd had a bit of a long day, and had opted to go to a bar that also offered decent enough food.
A lot of people didn't approach him. So Ichigo was a bit surprised when someone offered to buy him a drink. "Are you gonna joi me for the drink, or just buy it and head out?" Lots of people didn't hang at bars, whether they had food on the menu, or not. It wasn't like he was planning on staying there for too long. Having someone to talk to might help settle his nerves a bit more than alcohol would.
Ichigo knew that people avoided him due to his hair color a lot but also due to his typical facial expression. He was viewed as a punk for his hair color, or as someone who shouldn't be approached due to his scowl. Even though he wasn't always angry it was just his face, he supposed. Not that there was anything wrong with him not being all smiley. Not when he worked so much for long periods of time.
Plotted fic. Don't like, block us or the tw, we will block you if you start shit.
It wasn't often that Ryuuken got off work quite so early, but then he was nearly to seventy hours when he finally clocked out. So perhaps the earliness wasn't really the problem. However, that was simply part of life when one had the skill to help in the case of a multicar pileup. So he wasn't too bothered by it.
What he was bothered by, was the fact that even smoking three full cigarettes on his short, or perhaps quick would be a better description, drive hadn't calmed him down. Which left him heading directly for his smoke box in his office as there was clearly little else that was going to calm down the low grade panic he was still riding from back to back surgeries. He'd dug out one of the few pre-rolled joints he had, ones laced with resin to hit even harder, and headed down for the kitchens as he lit it. As if he would cook something just because he was home this early instead of ordering in whatever made to mind when he got hungry enough.
Years of practice kept him from coughing over the heat or the weed itself, as he walked through the house. Though he was only a couple puffs in when he stepped into the study and stopped at the sight of Uryuu on one of the couches looking about to cry. Though really the greater worry was that continuing to stand there, he had to wait to see the teen draw in a breath, as small and shallow as it was.
The doctor suppressed a roll of his eyes as he walked in closer, his hip pressing against the arm of the couch Uryuu sat on. "What's wrong?"
While he absolutely did care about what was going on with his son, especially since the younger Ishida had lost his Quincy powers, Ryuuken also found himself more frustrated when the teen started to babble at him. Or at least he thought that was what Uryuu was trying to do, since the words came out broken and distorted on hitched breaths and a wet voice.
His own mind wasn't nearly as balanced as he tried to keep himself, not yet, and he didn't really think through his options. Instead, he acted on instinct. Usually that went well for him. Tonight, that meant that he pulled in a deep drag from his joint, drawing until his own lungs hurt, and then grabbed Uryuu's jaw. Ryuuken had never been one to get physical with his son, no matter how mad he got, so his grip got the boy to gasp and he took advantage of the part of his lips.
Leaning down over the brunet, he pressed his lips over Uryuu's and exhaled hard, pushing the smoke into his son's mouth instead. Drawing back, he looked down with the same blank, nearly disinterested, look on his face for a moment as the college student started to cough. Scoffing slightly over how unaccustomed Uryuu was to the smoke, he stood up and took another drag off the joint for himself as he headed through the study to get to the kitchens.
He paused only long enough to speak before disappearing from the room. "When you've calmed down, I'll be in the kitchens."

A deep inhale through the nose. Thank the steam, being able to breathe through his nose again was nice.
Too close to the new moon. Inuyasha had caught a nasty cold, all the reason to come along with Koga to hot springs high in the mountain. A form softened by life more peaceful than it used to be, the hanyō was wearing no more than his hakama, chest deep as he tilted his head back, eyes closed. Muscles were relaxed, and the steam rising off of the water had cleared up his nose. With a lazy flick of his right ear, golden eyes cracked open partway.
"Hmm?"
It's the most he managed, simply voicing a response to words he hadn't really been listening to. To even stay awake was a struggle, blinks drawing slow, hard. There was only a handful of people he could allow himself to be seen like this around, Koga was one of those few people. A wolf that got on his last damn nerve sometimes, but an ally all the same. If he ignored, and avoided every single person who got on his nerves...
He'd be all alone again. Just like years ago.
"...Yeah..." He sank lower. "...That."
No real idea on what he was responding to, Inuyasha's lower head dipped beneath the water. Good thing he could breathe through his nose, ears drooping in his exhaustion as the hanyō's eyes slipped closed. Just a little nap, now that he was finally able to feel physically comfortable for a while couldn't hurt... just a little. Five minutes at most.
━━The Dracokin points at Elfman. "HE'S BACK?!" Clearly the large wizard had been back for a while, and Natsu's lizard brain had noticed. // @cpirits
@cpirits
Definitely took him a little long to notice. But Elfman's been around for a while now. If anything, it looked to the Man as if this lizard-for-brains' been gone much longer than he has, or rather; both were gone in paralleling times. Either way, there he was-- And he wasn't going anywhere for the time being.
