I'd like to say a few words for a change
Today is the last day of this 2012 year, and honestly I couldn't be happier. It was filled with too many tears, hard times, and disappointments; these, mostly because of my own actions. I had to learn the hard way that not all friends are really friends, more like people who come and go. It's the people who have always been in your life that really are your friends. I gave second chances and third chances and FOURTH chances to people who didn't deserve my time, only to have nothing given back. And it's okay, because I knew, I know, I am the bigger and better person. I work two jobs now, and am a full-time student. I've dedicated myself to my dream, and am working to get it every single day. This year, I remained sober. Seeing as I relied on alcohol on a daily basis, I'd say I've come a long way. My business has flourished more than I thought it would, and it continues to do so. I have press passes lined up with touring artists now, and I know this is only the beginning. I met someone who makes me feel appreciated and loved for a change; it feels right. We have our differences & we fight like an old married couple, but it's something I wouldn't trade for the world.
I'd just like so say thank you to the people who believe in me and have supported me through everything thus far. But I'd really like to thank the people who told me I'd never get anywhere in my life, that I wasn't anything special. That's the greatest inspiration I have. I know I'll get where I want to be, and I'll keep working my ass off until I get there.
