it’s only july
It’s been a while. Equivalent to multiple years in Covid-time. I took a break for a number of reasons -- the main one being all the feels the current astrological weather gives me. I am so looking forward to the post-inauguration world and some spectacularly average transits. Here in mid-July, that feels so far away.
To me, this year has always been about four dates. The first and second being the January Pluto/Jupiter/Saturn conjunction followed by Mars joining in on the fun in March. The third is this upcoming August square from Mars that begins in late July. Mars sets things into motion, and he is very much in domicile in Aries. Things are set to happen. The last (but not least because election and Saturn into Aqua), is October when Mars retrogrades back into the square for one last terrifying hurrah. Whatever happens gives us a nice runway into November and the election where Mercury will be retrograding in Libra.
Interpret that as you may.
I for one will be shocked if a winner is announced on election night. Or the following day. Or even the following week. My best guess is we’ll have some notion by the end of the month. But who knows because the square from Uranus on inauguration day is unlike any inauguration day astrology I have ever seen in the archives. It is a revolutionary Mars squaring Uranus energy that feels rather angry. But given everything...that seems right. On the upside, that day gives way to some relatively peaceful astrological alignments that persist for quite a while down the road. A reprieve from the chaos. Knowing this has brought me a great deal of solace and something to hold onto. But oh yeah, it’s only July.
