update for the verse!!
so, sim & i have been...notably absent for the last, god, year? just really flaky, i’m so sorry! but life is life & all. anyways, i have an ic explanation for our scarce presence.
basically, in sim’s asgard, odin has now passed. it’s thrown the realm into a bit of turmoil, with sim exiled ( possibly dead ) to the last of everyone’s knowledge and thor often gone to midgard. however, thor & sim were both recalled to asgard and thor was crowned king. he did not completely relinquish his obligations with the avengers ( though the team is already aware his presence is not guaranteed even without this new duty as king ) but when he leaves the realm, frigga has agreed to rule in his place as regent. additionally, thor has asked sim to be his royal advisor, and after several weeks of contemplating the decision, he has accepted. it will mean that he will occasionally have to take trips ( even extended ones ) back to his asgard. ( also another excuse for when i get stress w/ rl & flake again. ) but for the most part, thor will communicate for minor concerns via a magical link sim has established between their realms & universes.
also, the magic that was restored via the golden apple gifted to him by deadly is now replenished to full strength! there are very few things that he cannot do as well as he could prior to his banishment, and he is learning even more from observing the other tricksters in the family & independent research & study.
but this is my hopeful return to more activity within the verse. as long as work isn’t killing me, i should be around.
