tick.. tock.. tick.. tock.. I want to say something. tick.. tock.. tick.. tock.. I want to tell a story.. tick.. tock.. tick.. tock.. I don't know where to start.. tick.. tock.. tick.. tock.. can't find the words to say.. tick tock. tick tock. I can't compose my thoughts.. tick tock tick tock. it's bugging me.. tick tock tick tock time keeps running tick tock ti---- I'm ready to start.

It was Sunday morning and I was on my way to our church. I was riding on a jeepney, and there was a couple who was also on the jeepney that got my attention. The woman was beside me with her son on her lap, and the guy was in front of me with their son too.. 

Guy: Net.. Net.. (low voice) diyan na ata yung bahay nila ana eh. 

Woman: oh? (then nod with half smile then looked at the window)

Guy: Net.. si alex nakausap ko kahapon kung pwede daw mag-renew na ulit siya ng contract, naawa naman ako. 

Woman: (looked at her husband and smile, then looked at the window again)

Guy: Net..

Woman: (ignores)

Guy: Net.. Net.. alam mo yung..

Woman: (irritably looked at her husband and said it in a low irritated voice) "Daddy, pwede ba mamaya nalang?!" (then looked again at the window)

I heard it because I was on her side. After that conversation, I looked at the guy and he kept on talking and pointing on things like it was his first time to see it. He was talking to himself silently and also to his son who aged like 6 years.

After that scene, different thoughts filled my mind. Do they talk that often that the woman got tired to listen? Is what the guy kept on talking about are not interesting for the woman? Did they had a fight before that scenario? Is the woman not in the mood to talk to her husband? Does the woman think that having conversation while on a transportation vehicle is unethical?

I don't know the real answers and what I thought from the very start is that, they are quite good couple.

But there is one thing, one message that I realized after that scenario.. 

HAVING CONVERSATION, EITHER LONG OR SHORT, WITH YOUR PARTNER IS IMPORTANT TO STRENGTHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP. Bearing with your partner will show how much you love him/her in spite of all your reasons. :)
