“Link...!” Zelda gasped, with the first new breath she’d drawn in decades, the symbol on her hand glowing brightly, as if fighting an invisible force.

        Not him, willingly at least.

“How often d’ya brush it? Looks like y’ been dragged through a hedge backwards.”

“Hey! I heard that you used to be one of the old fighters... Well at least the Link that took part in tournament in the past.” Daisy spoke as she approached the Twilight Hero.

Daniel let out a yell as he thrust his sword into the last bokoblin, the creature falling to the ground before fading away. Breathing heavily, he wiped his brow. “Damn, this is a lot harder without an arm to hold my shield with.” He looked up to see Link, of all people, looking at him. “Man, I keep running into you, huh? What’re you doing around here?”

“....you are long, long way from home, are you not?”

It’s his double again! Which is admittedly unsettling that meeting him wasn’t some strange dream he had in the Riverside Stable’s inn. That place always seemed to trip him out... Still., he offers the other a wave, and a wordless call for his attention.

Daniel sighed as he rested his sword and shield down. The heat was getting to him, so he pulled out his canteen and took a sip of water. “Man, it’s super hot out today..” As he sat down and took a look around his surroundings, he noticed someone coming over the hill. He waved to them. “Yo there!”
