It’s been really interesting recently watching my four-year-old son as he develops a fierce desire to always win, even if it’s something simple like who gets from the car to the front door first. He simply hates to lose. But then don’t we all? I’ve been teaching him that actually we all need to lose, because that’s how we learn. Not the easiest concept for a four-year-old to grasp, but an important one nonetheless. What I love about him is that, even if he doesn’t like losing, he has a relentless energy and desire to keep competing, which is something that I believe is missing in a lot of people. I see it all too often in business and relationships people have become too scared of losing or not getting the desired outcome that they stop trying. They settle for what they’ve got and eliminate all risk of ever having to face a defeat from their lives. But they do so at a great price, because the greatest failure of all is to stop trying, to give up on achieving what was once so important to us all because we failed at it a few times. Never give up on that dream keep getting up every time and you will become stronger than the greatest failure. #iwillpersistuntillisucceed #couragetodo #highperformancehabits https://www.instagram.com/p/B4C-s5jpgVq/?igshid=1l2jzm3d34pgr
