Typical. Luck was miserable at best, to be caught in a hefty storm would have to suggest staying over the night, if not force hand to. Nevermind power being out, that much could be made do with so long candles existed. It was amusing to say the least, their use might be different than original intended. Although that humor was kept to herself, as she lit and rested one on the table.
"I’m beginning to think I’d bad luck for you." Playful banter as usual, though maybe a little meaning did exist behind the words. Not admitted, just hinted. A glance in his direction, before backing off and away from the object. "Makes life somewhat more interesting, I guess. If anything these candles will actually get some decent use." Glance at the kitchen, quietly studying. "Kinda low, but got any ramen? Heating up water shouldn’t be too much trouble. It’s good emergency food, ironically."
↑ℒℰℕ─✂↓ Lightning shot out from the sky more than he probably would be comfortable with, and the thunder just added to the stress. Len wasn't expecting it to rain this badly when he decided to go out today, but then again the rain didn't bother him as much as other things probably would have. Still, this gave him a chance to spend more time with Luka.
"You're bad luck for me? Why do you say that?" Cerulean optics reflect the flickering flame they focused on. "I'd say I'm lucky to be stuck inside with you like this~ Maybe my luck will rub off on you?" It was no lie he told. The blond watched as the woman before her glanced into the kitchen. He wasn't sure if there was ramen in there so he pushed up against the table and started to peek into the cabinets. "I can't remember the last time I've seen a candle lit in this type of situation. I mean, I guess they can be used romantically but I don't think I've ever really used them like that. Have you?" As soon as he opened up the cabinet filled with random spices and what not, ramen sat right before his eyes.. "Hey would you look at that, there is some in here. Want me to make us some?"
