I made this cot quilt for a friend. It’s a “quilt as you go”. Each block has a different coloured background. These were made by basting the wadding into a piece of fabric then sewing the top pieces. The back fabric was turned over to make a border. These were then sewn together by hand. Cot Quilt. I made this cot quilt for a friend. It was a quilt as you go. I wanted to make it reversible do there was no top or bottom. I used the English paper method to prepare the blocks, these were then sewn onto a prepared backing block, quilted then sewn together. Cot Quilt. This quilt was made using green and blue batik jelly roll. Each block was 10cm square, sewn onto a 12 cm background and quilted.
