#cosqueen

So right now im doing and internship at a small game company and will be entering my final year of school come September. My mum is moving to a much smaller place and this means im pretty much permanently living with Jon. (Aka nowhere to put everything i own and no backup plan) 

 Jon and I were talking last night and i had to ask myself some hard questions about my future. 

Right now im struggling to balance my art, cosqueen, and a new project im working on. I came to the conclusion that CosQueen is on its last legs and it seems like a good time to end it in exchange for something better. Ive learned a lot from doing it (around 6 years??) and made lots of friends because of it. 

It will be a gradual process because theres a lot of stock to clear out. I will probably still sell wigs and will still sell them at cons but the social media aspect takes so much time and effort that i cant do it all for much longer. Ultimately i want to focus on my artwork and i can never do it 100% with CosQueen taking up most of my mental energy. 

I still love marketing and stuff so that will never go away, just a shift in focus for the sake of my artwork and career. I really want to be a great artist someday, and i want to be able to be more of myself instead of forcing myself to be my 'CosQueen persona'. So that's where im at! Sorry for the wall of text :/
