considering Kuya is (most likely, alongside quincy) one of the last original clan members, do you think he noticed how huey just seemed to grow more and more deadpan over the years? do you think he has seen Huey's smile, heard his laughter or his anger, and then, as the years went by, Kiya never saw those again? Maybe even, in the present day, wonder if he had been hallucinating the whole time?

Do you think Kuya is prideful about having seen a Huey that no one else in this day and age has ever seen? Do you think Kuya tries to remember Huey's emotions, and compare them to Eiden, trying to see if they had any similarities at all? Trying to grasp and remember sights and sounds that were lost to time, with him being the only one who's lived long enough to even catch a glimpse of such a sight, yet too committed to the present moment to ever speak of them?

They hear a pitter patter from the window, Blade thinks its an intruder, ready to defend the defenseless and unconscious Eiden, only to find out it's Morvay, using his master's room as a secret backdoor after sneaking out for a meal. "What are you two doing here??" He asks. After a whispered explanation, Morvay unknowingly joins in on watching Eiden sleep, though he himself should be in bed by now. His master is so at peace like this, so sound and safe, and it would be so easy to pounce on him and suck him dry...

"What a crowd we have here." A voice comes from Eiden's desk. It's Kuya, he's been here even before Rei, but he acts like its the others who are weird for peeping on the young grand sorcerer like this. The group has now started whispering amongst themselves, trying to defend their reasons for watching Eiden sleep.

Finally Eiden turns on the light "guys. Please."

They scatter. Blade goes under the bed, Morvay flies out the door, Kuya disappears in a cloud of smoke, and Yakumo screams as he opens the nearest window and jumps out.

"That was weird." Eiden is ready to go back to bed.
