Rereading the chapter when Riza tells Ed she'll, "just have to wait for him." Hurts more when I think of Ed having a head full of curls.

I also wanted to draw him in pajamas with teddy bears cause of that convo between Roy and Maes. That lead to me starting a short snippet of Edward getting to celebrate his birthday for the first time once he joins mustangs units and reunites with Alphonse. Long story short, that I won't be finishing anytime soon, Al gifts him an old stuff animal hoping it might help with Ed's memory. It doesn't, but it does trigger faint memories.

Riza then begins gifting Ed stuffed animals. Not because she realize the full impact Al's gift had on him. But because of how big a reaction he gives when holding the stuffed bear.

I don't what direction Thorn is going to take with Ed, but the terrible realization that Ed, Riza and Roy are all kinda dense and tip toeing around the idea of becoming a family team hit me suddenly. And I made myself sad, because what if once Ed and Al reunite they manage to send Ed home.

Only now Ed is lonely and homesick missing Mama and Papa Team Mustang.

Which makes him feel horrible, because he has everything that he's been dreaming about. What right does he have to want anything more from Riza and Roy. They've already done so much.

And of course Alphonse notices how different his big brother is now. However even he can tell that Edward is unhappy, which is a whole nother problem for a other Elric that just entered the damn stage.

My sister bought me some cool acrylic pens, which I planned on using for this picture, but I ended up hating how it looked so I went and digitalized it instead :/

When I was watching The Owl House in 2020, I wondered what covens the flynn-fletcher kids would be. I did a whole lineup with the main kids + one of the fireside girls.

I just wanted to redo them cause I don't like the way they look.

@batshit-birds has a Young Justice AU where the Core4 are lost in space and become space pirates. Most if not all of the JL believe them to be dead with only a small handful believing otherwise. Not wanting to give false hope the few who think otherwise remain quiet.
