I feel like I'm the only person who thinks this, but I wish LadyFiszi and PinkyPills had been more creative when it came to designing the characters of TSE. Granted, Fiszi only designed Charlie and John for TFF, but Pinky had a bigger opportunity to make the others stand out. But they all just kinda look the same and suffer majorly from sameface syndrome.
Thing is that neither of them really have a say in how the characters look, it’s all up to Scott in the end, the designs used to be worse as Charlie and Jessica were near identical when the first version of The Freddy Files came out (and I think her old design is still in the newer version too), so I was happy to see Jessica end up looking more unique.
The designs we see in the graphic novel aren’t perfect but I still think they are good and pretty much how I expected the kids to look... William to an extent too (though I never expected that level of detail on his scars).
On a little side note, I personally I feel like the fandom has grown far too attached to their own personal headcanons and are thus getting really bent out of shape over the official designs for this reason and honestly need to chill out.
