5. Your character walking in on mine waking from a nightmare.
>recently, with how down you've been and how bad you've felt, it's no surprise you've been getting nightmares. but tonight, you guess they decided to get a little worse. you and devin, despite recent events with you two, finally got to hang out and do a kind of sleep over, you guess. she must've gotten around her dad or gotten permission from him or something, because yeah, she was there. you two had talked a little bit, though you didn't want to get too in detail or else you probably were gonna feel bad again, worse than you were at the moment. you'd gotten to sleep, miraculously, considering you don't get much sleep in times and moods like these. and you had a dream that she was hurt severely, and you couldn't do anything about it. you couldn't go after her, move, anything. and her screams of pain and everything in the dream made it so much worse, just every noise of pain she made. god, you so desperately wanted to move and go after her and save her and help her but you couldn't move or do anything. and as they act as if they were about to finish the deed, you wake up, jumping up in bed. aaand cue the panic attack from it. and devin was right there to see it, see you panic. in between unintelligible words and your panicking, what can be made out is 'i didn't want you to see me like this' and 'i'm sorry'. you keep trying to calm down and breathe; trying to stop panicking.
