There was a bad storm that nearly evolved into a tornado -- my worst fear. Now that it has gone, I have lit sandalwood incense and am cleansing some amethyst and rose quartz in the smoke. Last time I burned it, I didn’t like the scent of sandalwood. Now I find it very calming, like my mother’s presence. I wonder if the smell changed to me due to my need of it?

Similar to how my cat, Sabrina, knows when to comfort me and protect me, as she is now. She followed mum and I into the bath tub when we first went in. I’m certain she knew how terrified I was. Brilliant cat.
