A messenger-class corvafex - although they do follow a "bird" format, as long as the frame can support it there is really nothing stopping the artisans from adding embellishments, such as multiple wings.

A couple of all-round type corvafex sketches. Originally I was planning to work out the limbs on a normal corvafex more (not missing the covering like Arrow) but I got SO sidetracked with the front face, LOL. I did get in one at least!
Along with all limbs being covered, its really common for them to be wearing stuff like horse jackets/blankets, barding, livery, etc. They are fairly advanced for this type of automata and are able to follow directions, do their own pathfinding, etc. Since they are often freeroaming, having them wear stuff helps identify what they're doing and who they're doing it for, along with being a nice way to make them look comfy and add some style 😎
Ref is done!! Easy peasy to get done before artfight. I want to do some new icons soon too (a regular one and maybe a custom glowing eyes one for the reblogblog) but those are slightly less priority.
Finally, the sona color test! I more or less got where I wanted right away but I decided to try out a couple other schemes just in case. I had already picked out the colors I wanted a while ago and just needed to test where I was putting them - They are actually pulled from these two ink challenge pieces because I really, really liked the grayscale + orange.
