i think thereās something to be said about loving someone youāve known for so very longāitās the appeal of all the childhood friends romances, the old flames, the past lives
#stone dance of the chameleon#sdc#suth sardian#imago corundum#corundian#i spent like an hour refining the lineart before realising i liked the rough sketch version better š#my 4yrs younger self would be soo mad i got into shipping an age difference couple š#but i think Corundian really is SUCH a fascinating shipāso many amazing factors going for them#just the idea of Sardian growing up idealising Corundumāthenā his feelings changing with ageā into admiration and friendship and desire#and thereās so much potential for both angst and fluff#i have this hc of Sardian confessing to Corundum so many times and always getting rejectedā we canāt be togetherā i donāt see you that way#and he DOES try his best to move on but it doesnāt workā itās impossible#because Corundum will always be the yardstick against which heāll measure every other man in his life
