“That sounds like a terrible burden to have to deal with. Is there anything I can do for you Corryn?” Robin wanted to help her. He wasn’t sure what was going on but if he could lend a hand and ease her trouble, he’d certainly try.

“Is it about your family?”

“Of course...I won’t let anything happen to Lady Hinoka.” She promises the princess, smiling as she accepts the gift. The arrows and bow are well appreciated, and she’s eager to break them in. The money too, she’s always misplacing her purse somehow.

Her blood was boiling at the fact they had been ambushed. Why hadn’t she noticed this before? She didn’t hear Azura nor feel the wound on her arm.

“I don’t know how many are left if any.” She scans the area and lunges at the dark. A high pitch grunt and a thud tells them she hit someone. “Stay close Ill protect you Azura.”

Invisible enemies... Or well hidden ones, perhaps Ninjas had come to take them out? No, that first attack was aimed at her, it was only by Corryn's intervention did the songstress remain unhurt.

As Corryn lunged, panic tightened in her chest, it was getting hard to breathe; Azura returned to her companion's side in a few steps, hands desperate for a comforting touch... Corryn's armor was cold against her fingertips but it helped.

Robin was going to reply of course not almost right away but then paused, really thinking about what Corryn was saying. There were things that could certainly reflect poorly on them both. But even if such things were true, Robin dismissed the idea that their past and the circumstances that happened to them made them devils.

Setsuna had always known Lady Hinoka had another sister. She’d told her about it, when Hinoka had been low and broken and weeping over what she’d been unable to protect. Setsuna had never met Hinoka’s sister, not until a long time had passed since that day, and she’d been able to help her friend build herself back up.

But Setsuna had decided very early on that if she ever met Hinoka’s sister, she would not like her for what she’d done to Hinoka. 

The castle had been full of it. They were back, she was back, the family was back again. Setsuna frowned as she’d watched everyone rush and hurry around. She didn’t think it was much worth celebrating. Kaze was back, Rinkah was back, people they’d worked with for a long while now. Wasn’t that more important than some stranger they’d never met?

Lady Corryn was someone who intrigued her. While sent with Chrom and a couple other Shepherds to Aytolis, Robyn was able to meet warriors from other regions (or times, such as Marth). It was a tad unnerving she was in the presence of many a royal— most of which she read about in her history books— but she hadn’t been so nervous once she began to go through her patrol routines as she had back home. 

It was an honor to become friendly with Lady Lyndis or battle simulation (chess, was it?) rivals with Lord Leo, but the Manakete, Lady Corryn drew her attention due to how she viewed fate. Robyn didn’t believe in it herself, but Corryn seemed adamant it was her decision to choose which path of an intersection to walk down on. Perhaps she was hearing the other wrong? Robyn would have to ask.
